Adtech Specialist
Adtech Specialist
We are looking for an Adtech Specialist to join our Martech team. This role will play a critical part in enabling our marketers to buy the right customers at the right value.
You’ll combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to make sure our adtech stack is stable, scalable, and delivering measurable impact across acquisition and re-engagement campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Data Enablement
- Enable the flow of first-party data into ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Branch.io, etc.) to power targeting, optimisation, and attribution.
- Support the activation of data out of ad platforms and MMPs, ensuring performance insights can be captured, reconciled, and fed back into decision-making.
- Partner with Performance Marketing, Data, and Engineering teams to configure and validate conversion APIs, event attributes, and schema alignment.
- Audit and resolve gaps in tracking, attribution, and data activation to improve match rates and optimisation signals.
- Build a repeatable playbook for scaling new data-driven use cases across markets and channels (audiences, predictive attributes, suppression, value-based bidding).
Optimisation & Capability Growth
- Test and roll out advanced features across platforms (e.g. TikTok Events API, Google Ads enhanced conversions, Meta Conversions API upgrades, Google Tag Gateway).
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a new performance marketing data schema to standardise event usage across channels.
- Champion best practice in event tracking, measurement, and campaign optimisation.
- Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing so Performance Marketing teams can self-serve effectively.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for paid channel data activation (Meta, Google, TikTok, Branch.io).
- Provide second-line technical support and troubleshooting for advanced adtech issues (event mismatches, sync failures, attribution discrepancies).
- Collaborate with Engineering/Data teams to ensure pipelines, APIs, and integrations remain stable, scalable, and privacy-compliant.
- Stay abreast of industry and vendor innovation (e.g. cookie deprecation, ATT, privacy changes, new API capabilities), identifying opportunities to strengthen ClearScore’s adtech stack.
Why Join ClearScore?
- Work at the intersection of data, platforms, and digital marketing.
- Be part of a team that values innovation, learning, and impact.
- Gain hands-on experience across Meta, Google, TikTok, Branch.io, Hightouch, GTM, GA4, and CM360.
- Build skills across both adtech and martech in a global environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Hands-on experience with tag management (Google Tag Manager) and analytics platforms (GA4 or similar).
- Proven track record implementing ad platform integrations (Meta Events Manager, Google CM360, TikTok Ads Manager).
- Familiarity with MMPs such as Branch.io (or equivalent e.g. Appsflyer, Adjust) for attribution and 1st-party data activation.
- Experience using data activation tools (Hightouch, Segment, or similar).
- Technical background: APIs, data schema alignment, troubleshooting event-level data.
- Understanding of performance marketing workflows (audience creation, optimisation, attribution).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data issues into marketing impact.
- Excellent stakeholder management across performance marketing, data, and engineering.
Desirable:
- Experience with server-side tagging and conversion APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and investigations.
- Exposure to privacy and compliance considerations (GDPR, ATT, data governance in paid media).
- Experience with marketing data warehouses (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Fintech or regulated industry experience a plus.
- Global/multi-market experience.
