Senior Corporate Development Manager

London, England, United Kingdom

Senior Corporate Development Manager

We’re looking for a highly motivated Corporate Development Manager to join our strategic and finance function to support key initiatives including M&A transactions, capital raising, and broader growth strategy. Reporting to senior leaders, you’ll work across teams to evaluate opportunities, build business cases, and manage communications with stakeholders ranging from the Board to external advisors.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who wants to be involved in the full spectrum of corporate development activities at a high-growth business. You’ll support cross-functional collaboration, contribute to commercial and strategic analysis, and play a critical role in enabling the business to scale efficiently and thoughtfully.

What you will be doing:

Support M&A Strategy and Execution

  • Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and commercial due diligence to assess acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Prepare briefing materials and support internal stakeholders through the deal lifecycle (from origination to integration planning).
  • Coordinate data collection, cross-functional inputs, and project timelines across Product, Finance, Legal, and Tech teams.
  • Support ongoing tracking and analysis of the M&A pipeline.
Engage in Fundraising and Debt Financing Activities
  • Assist in preparing materials for equity fundraising, including investor decks, data rooms, and due diligence responses.
  • Work closely with the CFO and external partners to support debt financing activities, including relationship management with lenders and maintenance of financial information required for credit reviews.
  • Develop models, forecasts, and scenario analyses in support of capital strategy.
Support Communications with Shareholders and the Board
  • Prepare board materials, investor updates, and strategic presentations.
  • Help manage recurring and ad hoc communications with shareholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date materials for internal and external reporting.
Drive Broader Strategic and Commercial Initiatives
  • Contribute to high-priority strategic projects across the business (e.g., market expansion, pricing strategies, business case evaluation).
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to collect inputs and align execution with strategic priorities.

Skills we'd love you to have

  • We’re looking for a commercially minded, analytical, and collaborative professional who brings a balance of strategic insight and executional rigor.
  • Proven experience in investment banking, corporate development, strategy consulting, private equity, or a strategic finance role within a high-growth company.
  • Exposure to M&A or capital markets transactions, with experience supporting financial and strategic analysis.
  • Familiarity with interacting with external advisors (investment banks, legal counsel, lenders, etc.) is a plus.
  • Exceptional financial modelling and valuation expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to create clear and compelling presentation materials.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Confident using Excel, PowerPoint, and (ideally) financial analysis tools.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and navigating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing business.
