WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You are an up and coming young designer who knows that today’s brands should never stay static. And as such you not only create stand out static designs and layouts, but you also bring them to life through motion and animation. Your work moves and that moves audiences. Of course, you’ll be digital-first and know how to create designs and assets for a wide range of platforms. You’ll also have lots of ideas and be able to collaborate with conceptual writers to bring ideas to life. And finally, you’ll have a hunger to learn new skills to broaden your capabilities.

You may come from an agency background, or from another in-house studio, but either way, your passion for design, craft and communications that have an impact must show through.

As a FinTech business, we also embrace using all the tools available to us in order to deliver the best experience for our customers. This includes the use of AI systems, so exposure or a want to learn and embrace tools such as Blaze AI, MidJourney, ChatGBT and Synthesia are a must.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

No two days are the same in the studio and the work we do is rich, varied and multi-channel, so you’ll be expected to use your skills across all sorts of different things. But primarily we want someone who is ‘T-Shaped’ and able to show what’s possible when asked to make our brand move. As a studio we do all the typical things you’d expect a business to do like campaigns, emails, landing pages, socials, films, motion graphics…all the way through to printed assets and large-scale events. There’s lots to get stuck into, you’ll never be bored at ClearScore.

THE TOOLS OF OUR TRADE

The primary design tool we use is FIGMA, but as you know, that’s a static platform. We need someone who is able to lift these assets, make them move and appear dynamic for our videos and product content. But that’s not the only tool. As a Motion designer and video editor, you’ll be a dab-hand with ADOBE PREMIERE, AFTER EFFECTS, ADOBE EXPRESS and other platforms to help you create content, socials, infographics and creative storytelling that cuts through.

GOOD HOUSEKEEPER

You’ll also have good admin skills. Yeah, we know, it’s not the sexy bit, but knowing how to save your work, size assets and tag them, and co-maintain the library of work so all our markets around the world can find what they want as quickly and easily as possible. So you must work tidily and be diligent.

AMBITION

We want someone hungry to learn. While you have good skills already and can undoubtedly teach us a thing or two, you’re not the finished article yet. You want to grow, you want to learn, you will be inquisitive and curious for what’s next, and not be afraid to give it a go.

RECAP ON THE SKILLS

• Good with FIGMA and the Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Adobe Express)
• Excellent with video & motion using Final Cut, Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and more.
• You love generating ideas, concepts and communications.
• A meticulous eye for detail, with a love of content and video editing and VFX.
• Strong organisational skills with experience looking after libraries of assets such as templates, product shots and photography
• An appreciation of layouts, white space, grids and content hierarchy.
• Experience producing marketing collateral, from print to clothing and accessories

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• You must have a digital portfolio of design, animation, film demonstrating capability
• You must be UK based and able to work in our London Office 2 days per week or more
• You must like Star Wars
