Backend Engineer
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to come and join our close-knit agile delivery team working directly on open banking connections and realtime data enrichment. Your contribution in the OB Services squad will empower lending decisions across the UK by making them fairer and faster using cutting edge open banking data.
Your squad gathers and categorises open banking data which lenders utilise in realtime to assist in making affordability decisions.
D.One operates as a startup within ClearScore group so this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a budding business constantly gaining traction in the lending sector.
What you will be doing:
- Reporting to the squad captain of OB Services
- Building upon and improving our open banking connections and data enrichment pipeline used for hundreds of thousands of users per day
- Deploying production code helping to categorise transactions in real-time which enables use cases such as lending decisions, credit limit increases and many more
- Working in a “You Build It, You Run It” environment to build solutions end to end against AWS
Skills we'd love you to have:
- C# .NET experience
- Relational SQL databases experience
- Terraform
- AWS
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines

- The OB Services squad who will offer support, guidance and collaboration
- The D•One team are part of the ClearScore group benefiting from being part of an established company whilst operating independently as a startup
- A global team of ~150 developers in ClearScore’s technology function
