Senior CRM Manager - (12 month FTC - Maternity cover)

 

We’re seeking an ambitious Senior CRM Manager with a passion for putting the user first and supporting their team drive positive change. Reporting to the Global CRM Director, you’ll manage the UK CRM team (3 staff) who work on the development of cross-channel monetisation tactics and messaging that brings our product experience to life in a customer first approach. You’ll be an experienced CRM leader with a focus on growth/ trading and love driving adoption, usage and monetisation through email, push notifications, mobile (future) and in-product communications.

We are numbers obsessed and highly analytical so you will be too. You will be motivated by autonomy, enjoy working with high performing people who will push you to the stars,  and love finding a way around a problem. You’ll work in partnership daily with the UK Commercial team as well as CRM peers in Global and MarTech and other departments such as Product and Customer Service.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a team of three who work on the BAU calendar and our seasonal UK commercial exclusive campaigns, collaborating with key teams like Marketing, Commercial & Product.
  • You’ll be the UK owner of CRM so liaise and work in partnership with stakeholders from the UK market including commercial, customer service, marketing, compliance, analytics and product.
  • Attending weekly and monthly trading meetings and being held accountable and responsible for targets around customer monthly logins and revenue from the marketplace offers.
  • You’ll always think user-first and challenge which messages should be sent to which segments.
  • You’ll be a CRM SME understanding what the customer lifecycle and taking ownership of the UK contact strategy across email, push and mobile (future).
  • You’ll champion the customer and ensure their wants and needs are a voice in every meeting.
  • Work closely with the other two departments in CRM (MarTech and Global) on best practices, experiments and getting resource or technical support when needed.
  • You will size opportunities and prioritise initiatives that put the user first, without compromising on our key KPIs.
  • You’ll start every day looking at our reporting system (Domo) and our CRM system (Blueshift) to understand performance, campaigns and trends.
  • You’ll be data hungry, keeping track of customer behaviour, composing monthly reports highlighting key drivers and drainers.
  • You will ensure the quality of output from the team is always 100% and hold excellent standards on all work from the team.
  • Challenge current ways of working to improve performance and increase efficiencies.

 

Skills we'd love you to have

  • 10+ year's experience in CRM in a B2C digital business.
  • Experience working for a financial services company (preferred, not essential).
  • Experience with Blueshift (preferred, not essential) or any major Marketing Cloud such as Salesforce, Braze, Adobe etc.
  • Experience managing a CRM team is essential.
  • Very comfortable working with large data sets (event level as well as in batch loaded tables) to create audiences and drip campaigns.
  • Experience with Excel and be comfortable reporting on CRM KPIs.
  • Hands on experience with email marketing (design, build and execution)
  • Experience with SMS, WhatsApp and/or Social retargeting would be useful but not essential.
  • Experience working with dynamic content and/or a personalisation system is needed.
  • Experience working with customer audiences in a marketing cloud for segmentation and drip campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical/data skills and proven track record of turning data into actionable insights for improving engagement and monetisation KPIs.
  • Organised, critical thinker with the ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and ability to collaborate and build relationships is a must.
  • Strong and divergent creative mind who constantly keeps an eye on trends and inspiration in the market.
  • A passion for making marketing communications as relevant to customers as possible, communicating our value proposition clearly and acting as the guardian of our brand identity.
  • Ideally you care as much as we do about truly helping people, by providing free access to their credit score and helping them get clarity on their financial situation.
