About The Role š»
We are looking for a Legal Counsel who will support the Head of Legal with corporate and insurance matters.
The role provides an opportunity to take ownership of aspects of the corporate area, working closely with the Head of Legal, the Finance team and other key stakeholders in the company.
What Youāll Be Doing š
Working as a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:
- Providing legal support on corporate matters including document preparation, filings, notarizations, legalizations, and compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
- Managing legal documentation and databases, ensuring up-to-date and accurate record keeping.
- Assisting with insurance matters, and regulatory filings, as well as other projects as directed by the Head of Legal.
- Supporting cross-functional teams on ad hoc matters, transactions, and corporate initiatives.
- Monitoring and interpret changes in legislation, especially as they relate to corporate governance, compliance, and company filings.
- Facilitating communications and coordinate with notaries, government bodies, and external counsel.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes and tools.

What Youāll Need š
- Bachelorās degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field (Masterās or equivalent preferred)..Years of Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in corporate law, from a law firm or in-house environment.
- Experience or exposure to Common Law jurisdictions is a strong plus.
- Educational Background: Degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina
- Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when they are short of information
- Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user)
Nice To Have āØ
- Experience in a start-up
- Bachelor's or Masterās degree, or higher, in a financial discipline such as Banking, Finance, Investment Management, or Sustainable Finance.
