SOC Tier 1 Analyst

A large organization in Tel Aviv is seeking a SOC Tier 1 Analyst to join its Cyber Defense and Information Security division. The SOC team is part of the operational security unit, responsible for providing comprehensive protection for the organization’s assets—ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The team handles the detection and response to suspected cyber incidents, applying advanced monitoring methodologies and conducting investigations to address threats, risks, and vulnerabilities both internally and externally.

Work Schedule

• 24/7 shift-based role, including weekends and holidays
• Full-time position (~5 shifts per week)
• Mobility required when public transportation is unavailable

What You’ll Do

• Detect, respond to, and help prevent cyber threats targeting the organization, its assets, and customers
• Analyze and investigate ongoing and anomalous cyber incidents
• Make real-time decisions and apply sound risk management during incidents
• Develop a broad understanding of systems, infrastructure, and security gaps
• Operate and manage multiple complex technological systems

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of a cybersecurity course or professional training (required)
• Strong technological curiosity and self-learning ability
• Ability to work under pressure with strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with security and protection products
• Knowledge of communication protocols and operating systems
• Security-oriented mindset with solid understanding of cyber defense principles
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and concepts
• Previous experience in a technological role (advantage)
