
Sales Enablement Specialist
Role Summary:
PR Newswire is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist who thrives at the intersection of instructional design and enablement program creation to support sales performance. Reporting to the Director, Sales Enablement your key responsibilities will include:
Development & Execution of Sales Enablement Programs:
Design & develop engaging, scalable learning programs.
Translate subject matter expertise into modular, digestible learning experiences.
Build & manage self-paced learning journeys including multimedia content, scenario-based learning, and interactive modules.
Support the design and delivery of onboarding, everboarding and just-in-time learning programs across all sales roles.
Sales Training & Onboarding:
Support the creation and own the maintenance of onboarding journeys that effectively ramp new hires in mid-market, enterprise, and SDR roles.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to regularly refresh and enhance onboarding materials to reflect sales methodologies and product offerings.
Assist in the design, development, and delivery of sales training programs to improve product knowledge and selling competencies.
Content creation and management:
Support the creation and maintenance of sales enablement collateral including playbooks, job aids, certification frameworks and roleplay guides.
Maintain and organize enablement materials within the designated CMS and LMS systems.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or a related field
Proven experience designing training programs using Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia or similar tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong writing, visual design, and editing skills with attention to clarity, tone, and learning outcomes

Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement platforms preferred.
Familiarity with adult learning theory, curriculum design, and eLearning principles, preferred
Proficiency in LMS and CMS platforms (e.g., LearnUpon, Cornerstone, HighSpot, Seismic, SharePoint, etc.)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, education, or a related field preferred
For Individuals based in New York, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, and California, Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range is specific to these states, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
Chicago Pay Range
$70,000 - $75,000 USD
