What we offer:

The Audience Development Executive position at PR Newswire, a major brand under the Cision umbrella, involves cultivating existing media partnerships and building up more media distribution partnerships with online platforms and channels across all media publications in Indonesia. The goal is to broaden PR Newswire's distribution network, thereby empowering our clients to connect with their target audience effectively via our services. 

  • Driving Indonesia media networks

  • Permanent role

  • Remote work mode. Ideal position holder is expected to be based in Jakarta.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reaching out to the media including journalists, editors, bloggers and any content creator to introduce PR Newswire’s services dedicated for the media

  • Expanding PR Newswire Asia’s distribution network to online websites, bloggers, database, and other channels in Indonesia

  • Managing and developing new content partnerships and media relations in Indonesia

  • Assisting our client services and marketing team when required

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • University degree

  • More than 3 years of experience in related functions, preferably in the areas of public relations, media relations, or corporate communications

  • Have a good understanding of public relations, the media landscape, and how media companies function 

  • Solutions-driven, motivated individual, digitally savvy, and has a passion for engaging with the media.

  • A fast learner.

  • Accountable, meticulous, and detail-oriented, strong ability to work both independently and as a team member

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent in English speaking and writing is a must

  • Proficiency in Internet and PC software, esp. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
