Senior Software Engineer - Data Injection Team

Specifically, the Data Ingestion team is responsible for delivering and enhancing owned social data from a multitude of platforms delivering it verbatim to customer facing applications.

Our mission is to create an ingestion system that is robust, yet flexible enough to serve our downstream applications in quality with their ever-changing needs for our customers in a timely manner.

In this role as an engineer in the Data Ingestion team, you will:

• Work as part of a highly collaborative team to build and maintain the data ingestion pipeline for our Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence product. You’ll work as a back-end engineer delivering solutions to ingest data from a variety of data partners and platforms.
• Deliver well-tested and scalable solutions that meet technical and product needs
• Share and discuss best practices proactively with your peers.
• Collaborate with members of other product groups, fostering a culture of partnership and innovation.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event-driven messaging technologies
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
