The main responsibilities of the Regulatory Filing Specialist would be processing and filing
Regulatory Filing documents while educating clients as to best practices.
Major Duties
❖ Filing Regulatory Documents
❖ Keeping up to date on proper Regulatory Filing processes
❖ Answering client questions regarding proper Regulatory procedures
❖ Working with the team to complete all filings within strict timelines
❖ Speaking with clients regarding their filings
Job Qualifications
❖ Proficiency in most aspects of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a proven aptitude
for learning new software applications
❖ Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
❖ Ability to provide a high level of customer satiisfaction as position entails interaction with
top executives and law firms
❖ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
❖ Ability to cope under pressure
❖ Problem solving and good organizational skills
❖ Manage time wisely with an understanding of urgency
❖ Prioritize tasks based on pre-determined criteria
❖ Exceptional attention to detail
❖ Knowledge of the News Center process and how it impacts Regulatory Filing would be an
asset
❖ Knowledge of Regulatory Filing concepts would be an asset
❖ Ability to work well with colleagues
❖ Dependable and punctual
❖ A team player with a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
❖ Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with aggressive timelines; overtime may be required
❖ Covering holidays

❖ Post-secondary graduate would be an asset
