About the job

As a Software Test Analyst, you work to ensure the quality and compliance of our software solutions meet the expectations of our customers. You design and execute comprehensive test plans, conduct validation activities, and identify and report defects to ensure high-quality software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions in an agile environment.

This role will be part of the Pinnacle 21 portfolio. As clinical trial data are collected and prepared for submission to a health authority, the Pinnacle 21 platform ensures they comply with data standards and are ready for regulatory review. It's used by the FDA, Japan’s PMDA, and global biopharmaceutical sponsors and clinical research organizations to validate clinical trial data. Pinnacle 21’s software empowers the life sciences industry to ensure clinical data quality or “fitness,” enabling fast and smooth marketing approvals. In fact, it's the platform that drives the FDA’s 21st Century Review Initiative. 

About your responsibilities 

  • Authors and reviews test scripts
  • Conducts manual testing (included construction of test data) and collects test evidence
  • Collaborates with the product team on requirements elicitation to make sure requirements are complete and testable
  • Collaborates with quality assurance team to ensure teams compliance responsibilities are met (our products are GxP and ISO compliant)
  • Triages issues/defects, including support issues
  • Builds expertise on one or more major features of a single software application
  • Operates with minimal oversight, and proactively engages with leadership when necessary
  • Consistently meets all compliance requirements for the assigned project and broader organization
  • Pro-actively creates written documentation to improve the documented assets for a product
  • Makes clear efforts to produce deliverables that do not require revision
  • Gives consideration to how a deliverable will be tested and/or reviewed
  • Can lead a project when supported by more senior members of the team
  • Develops an understanding of the business domain associated with assigned work
  • Develops a growth plan in collaboration with management, and makes continual progress against that plan

Experience, skills and knowledge you should bring to us

  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative agile software organization
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray)
  • Familiarity with GxP and ISO compliance standards; experience working in regulated environments is a plus
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
