About the team

Take part in the revision of Chemaxon’s CRM system in order to best map the customer’s journey from an unqualified lead to an actual sales opportunity. Boost the efficiency of Marketing, Sales and Finance who are challenged by the increasing number of customers worldwide.

The CRM Solution Designer is a key enabler of the company’s customer strategy and lifecycle management, owning the functional and process designs and driving the development of the Salesforce CRM application across multiple functions. The role acts as a bridge between Salesforce users and the team developing and configuring Salesforce (be those internal or external), capturing and prioritizing requirements, creating functional designs and processes, coordinating build process and supporting user testing and release.

About your responsibilities

  • Drive company-wide CRM strategy in line with the overarching company strategy and directives from company leadership
  • Ensure that CRM and related infrastructure is configured in line with the defined processes and requirements of Sales, Marketing and Finance.
  • Act as a single point of contact for functional queries and new requirements relating to Salesforce CRM
  • Advise on and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in CRM and marketing automation utilization
  • Enable sales, marketing and other teams using the CRM and related systems, organize & run workshops to advise on best practices
  • Own and prioritize Salesforce development backlog
  • Provide appropriate functional designs to the development team based on business requirements
  • Coordinate Salesforce development with external vendor, perform functional testing
  • Create and own Salesforce e2e process documentation, including user guides and trainings
  • Drive and support release activities (UAT, communications etc.)
  • Collaborate with and support the BI team to maximize CRM Analytics value
  • Guard and drive data purity in our major marketing/sales databases and run data cleansing projects in alignment with the BI team
  • Manage technical aspects and architecture of key commercial systems (CRM, marketing automation, partner management) and the integration of external data sources used to capture, distribute, manage and report on commercial objects, such as leads, opportunities, etc.
  • Liaise with development and support teams to ensure activities ordered by the company are carried out in good quality and with reasonable effort 

Experience, skills and knowledge you should bring to us

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with platforms related to CRM infrastructure - like Salesforce Sales/Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Hubspot, WordPress, Google Analytics etc.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent business analysis skills (requirement gathering, process design, functional design, testing strategies)
  • Strong understanding of software development pipeline
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Good communication, presentation skills
  • Big picture thinker, in-depth problem solver with a broad and deep technical knowledge
