Vehicle Technician – Charles Hurst Belfast, Renault
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:15–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4)
Salary: OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)
Charles Hurst are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our busy and well-established Renault workshop in Belfast. Working alongside a team of experienced technicians, you will play a key role in carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology, completing servicing, and undertaking repairs to the highest manufacturer standards.

You will report to the Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support and guidance to help you succeed in the role. We offer continuous development through Renault manufacturer training programmes, ensuring your technical skills remain up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology

Conducting vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements

Completing additional repairs once authorised by the customer

Carrying out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and completing accurate job write-ups

Road testing vehicles to ensure all faults have been fully rectified

Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

Previous motor industry experience (franchise or independent)

A full and valid UK driving licence
