Program/ Portfolio Manager - Integration Management Office - 3-Month Engagement

Amman, Jordan

Location: Amman, Jordan.
Years of Experience: 8+ years.
Project Duration: 3 months.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

We are seeking an experienced Program/Portfolio Manager to lead the setup and operation of an Integration Management Office (IMO) for a public sector engagement. This 3-month assignment requires a professional with deep expertise in program and portfolio management, as well as hands-on experience establishing and running Integration Management Offices. The ideal candidate will bring strong public sector experience and the ability to manage complex interdependencies, ensure alignment across multiple initiatives, and drive integration across stakeholders and entities.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in program and portfolio management within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Demonstrated expertise in the setup and operation of Integration Management Offices (IMO).

  • Strong background working with or within the public sector on transformation or integration projects.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as PMP®, PgMP®, or MSP®.

  • Prior consulting experience, particularly with public sector clients or large-scale integration efforts.


Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and executive reporting skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments and delivering within tight timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and operationalization of the Integration Management Office (IMO).

  • Define IMO governance, roles, responsibilities, and standard operating procedures.

  • Establish integrated plans, reporting mechanisms, and performance monitoring frameworks.

  • Coordinate across multiple projects and initiatives to ensure alignment and minimize conflicts.

  • Identify, manage, and escalate interdependencies, risks, and issues across programs.

  • Engage with public sector stakeholders to ensure visibility, alignment, and collaboration.

  • Develop and maintain integrated dashboards and reports for executive leadership.

  • Drive continuous improvement in integration processes and reporting methodologies.
