Visual Designer
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a senior, hands-on visual designer to elevate Cargoo’s brand across all marketing channels. This role blends visual design excellence, speed, and cross-channel creativity - spanning websites, landing pages, campaigns, social content, and product storytelling.
The designer will work closely with the Head of Design and Marketing leadership to craft a coherent, modern brand expression and produce high-quality assets that support growth. This includes web design (Framer/Webflow), motion, social, paid ads, narrative visuals, modular campaign systems, and integrating AI tools for faster production.
The role is about creating a cohesive, recognizable, mature brand that performs across a wide scope of mediums and channels.
Responsibilities:
- Translate our brand strategy into high-quality visual assets and styles.
- Maintain consistency across campaigns, web, social, and sales collateral.
- Help evolve and refine the brand system as Cargoo 2.0 grows.
- Produce visuals for performance campaigns, sales activations, and product messaging.
- Create modular templates for paid and organic content.
- Develop visual narratives that make complex product stories clear and compelling.
- Design modern and high conversion landing pages, microsites, and product pages.
- Build or collaborate on builds in Wordpress.
- Ensure responsive behaviors, visual hierarchy, and performance best practices.
- Create lightweight motion assets, micro-animations, or social motion loops.
- Develop visual systems that allow marketing to scale content without losing craft.
- Use AI tools (image generation, layout automation, copy-support tools) to accelerate workflows without sacrificing quality.
- Maintain creative oversight - AI is a tool, not the output.
- Work closely with Marketing to understand campaign goals and constraints.
- Sync with Product Design for continuity between product and brand.
- Ensure all assets are organized, versioned, traceable, and documented.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in brand/creative/marketing design roles.
- Proven portfolio with campaigns, web pages, and brand-expressive work.
- Excellent visual designer with strong sense of aesthetics, composition, typography, and storytelling.
- Skilled in creating multi-format campaign assets quickly and with high polish.
- Experience designing modern, conversion-friendly landing pages.
- Able to develop design systems for marketing: templates, modular layouts, reusable styles.
- Expert level of Figma, Adobe Suite usage
- Comfortable with AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Gen 3, etc.)
- Fast, structured, and organized.
- Able to handle multiple requests without losing visual consistency.
- Strong collaboration and communication - can explain decisions and push back when needed.
- Low ego, high accountability.
Bonus points if you have:
- Framer or Webflow experience for no-code page builds.
- After Effects experience or similar for motion.
- Experience working in or with SaaS/B2B tech companies is a plus.
