Sales Manager

Role overview:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving our ambitious growth targets across two fast-growing international companies: Commodity Supplies AG and its sister company Cargoo AG. Commodity Supplies focuses on the seamless handling of ocean freight imports and exports, while Cargoo offers a high-tech Supply Chain Management platform for customers worldwide.

This role can be pursued from our Zurich or Hamburg office!

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage potential customers for ocean freight solutions and supply chain software, unlocking new market opportunities.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to significantly expand the customer base and market presence.

  • Build trusted relationships with customers, identify their needs, and develop tailored, customized solutions.

  • Orchestrate collaboration with internal teams (SDR, Operations, IT, Customer Service) to deliver optimal services.

  • Serve as the central point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and negotiating and finalizing contracts.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in end to end Sales of Logistics or Supply Chain solutions. 

  • Strong drive and curiosity to understand customer needs, develop sales strategies, and expand new markets.

  • Ability to break down and clearly convey technical concepts in both German and English.

  • Fearless approach towards building your own book of business.

  • Desire to thrive in a team-oriented environment (SDR, Operations, IT, Customer Service) to achieve common goals.

  • Willingness to travel and visit customers.

Nice to have:

  • Extensive network in the Logistics, Supply Chain industry.
