Marketplace Content & Engagement Specialist

Romania

About the role

Creative Fabrica’s Marketplace serves a large and active crafting audience. Supporting Marketplace and All Access requires useful, timely content, a strong understanding of our customers and practical execution across a range of initiatives. We are looking for someone who can strengthen our content and social presence while also contributing to broader Marketplace priorities that improve discovery, engagement and subscriber value.

This is a hands-on and varied Marketplace role with a core focus on content and organic social. You will plan content, brief creators, coordinate publishing, research trends and audiences, and use performance insights to improve future work. You will not be expected to personally produce every piece of content. A key part of the role is managing the pipeline: identifying what is needed, sourcing or briefing the right contributor, coordinating delivery and learning from the results.

You will also support other Marketplace tasks and projects as priorities evolve. You should be comfortable moving between ongoing responsibilities and projects, working with different teams to turn ideas and priorities into practical execution.

What you'll do:

  • Content planning: Build and maintain a practical content calendar for Creative Fabrica's Crafts channels, balancing evergreen themes, seasonal moments, product discovery, trends and subscriber value.
  • Creator-content coordination: Turn creator and community opportunities into strong briefs and manage content from idea to delivery, including deadlines, quality, feedback and usage rights.
  • Organic social publishing: Prepare, publish and optimize content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and other relevant Crafts channels, using the right format and message for each platform.
  • Trend and audience insight: Monitor crafting trends, content formats, emerging categories and audience conversations. Translate what you see into useful content ideas and Marketplace recommendations.
  • Performance and improvement: Track reach, saves, shares, clicks, referrals, trial activity and other relevant signals. Explain what is working and use the findings to improve content priorities and execution.

What you'll need:

  • Proven hands-on experience in organic social media, content marketing, editorial planning or a closely related field.
  • Strong judgment for short-form video, visual content, hooks, captions and platform-appropriate storytelling.
  • Experience briefing and coordinating creators, freelancers or UGC contributors through deadlines and feedback.
  • Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets and social analytics to interpret performance and make practical recommendations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Required Soft Skills
    • Strong content judgment: you can tell the difference between content that merely fills a calendar and content that is useful, relevant and worth sharing.
    • Organized and dependable: you can keep a content pipeline moving while managing details, deadlines and feedback.
    • Curious and analytical: you notice patterns, ask useful questions and improve the work based on evidence rather than assumptions.

Nice to have:

  • You craft or create yourself - for example with Cricut, Silhouette, SVGs, sublimation, sewing, printables, DIY or 3D printing.
  • Experience with a marketplace, subscription product, creator platform or content-led ecommerce business.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Metabase or Google Analytics.
