The Role
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of CAFU’s logistics platforms, including our internal operations portal (Pulse) and the mobile application used by our field force (Pilot App).
As Senior Product Manager – Logistics Systems, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of CAFU’s live operations stack. You’ll build the tools that enable dispatchers, operators, and fleet managers to monitor, assign, and optimize thousands of orders per day across the UAE. From assignment rules and geofencing logic to real-time escalations and field event triggers, you’ll ensure our systems deliver operational excellence at scale.
Your scope includes the Pulse portal—our command center for real-time operations—and the Pilot app, which guides our drivers through each service touchpoint and synchronizes field data with system actions. You’ll also own the logic that integrates routing, scheduling, order systems, and pilot performance tracking, ensuring all parts of the CAFU delivery network operate in harmony.
Key Responsibilities
Drive CAFU’s Operational Command Center (Pulse)
• Own the product roadmap for Pulse, including modules for order tracking, zone setup, asset scheduling, pricing, catalog configuration, and live exception handling.
• Build tools that allow operators to intervene, reassign, or escalate orders intelligently and quickly.
• Integrate deeply with routing, scheduling, and order systems to manage the flow of job assignments, delays, and performance metrics.
Evolve the Pilot Experience & Field Intelligence
• Lead the evolution of the Pilot app to handle real-time updates, health and safety checks, event triggering, and performance reporting.
• Ensure Pilots receive accurate assignments, timely notifications, and intuitive interfaces for their daily operations.
• Power bi-directional syncing between Pilot actions and Pulse operations.
Optimize for Efficiency and Reliability at Scale
• Monitor and drive key operational KPIs—order delay %, cancellation %, slot availability, and pilot utilization.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to build dashboards, alerts, and optimization loops.
• Launch new features such as real-time tracking, IoT integrations, performance scorecards, and dynamic zone scaling.
Orchestrate Across Systems & Stakeholders
• Own integration logic across Pulse, Pilot, Routing, Scheduling, and Zones platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers, ops managers, and city leads to localize tools and workflows per geography.
• Influence both system-generated and human-in-the-loop decisions with tools that are fast, intuitive, and resilient.
Required Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience in product management, ideally working on logistics platforms, internal tools, field ops systems, or live ops environments.
• A deep appreciation for operational workflows—you’ve worked closely with dispatchers, field staff, or live operations teams.
• Strong proficiency with data analytics—you can interpret trends, debug metrics, and prioritize based on performance levers.
• Experience building internal dashboards, admin portals, or tools that integrate across multiple backend systems.
• Excellent systems thinking—you can design for complexity without overengineering.
• Strong communication skills to influence across tech, ops, and leadership teams.
• Comfort with live environments—thriving under pressure, ambiguity, and rapid iteration.
