JOB OVERVIEW
The Finance Manager will be accountable for managing the end-to-end finance processes for CAFU, with a high percentage of time focusing on Financial Planning & Analysis tasks and supporting the leadership team.
Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the role will work closely with the Executive Team and will be the go-to for all financial management, forecasting, planning and analysis.
The Finance Manager will also be responsible for providing expert support on the development of commercial proposals and driving insight-led decision making across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, including analytics, P&L forecasting, budget planning, and cash flow forecasts
- Partner with the Founder & CEO and executive team to influence strategy and commercial outcomes
- Develop forward-looking insights and analysis to drive decision-making
- Monitor and report on current financial performance against plan
- Provide regular reports to business stakeholders on forecasts and budget performance
- Present and interpret financial analysis to business leaders, highlighting risks or opportunities
- Conduct ad-hoc cost and revenue modelling for new or emerging products and service offerings
- Support development of tangible, operational changes to improve financial performance
- Provide financial analysis for external funding requests
- Serve as the financial subject matter expert for all commercial proposals and initiatives
- Develop business cases for new investments and expansion opportunities
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Act as business superuser for finance reporting and planning tools
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
- Implement best practices for financial management and reporting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles with at least 3 years in a lead role
- Must have held a position accountable for managing an end-to-end finance process team
- Experience working in technology-enabled or high-growth organizations strongly preferred
- Professional finance qualification (CA/CPA/CFA)
- Strong track record of solving complex commercial challenges through financial analysis
- Experience supporting the development of new product/service offerings with financial modelling
