Performance Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies and campaigns across digital platforms, including but not limited to paid search, display advertising, social media, shopping ads, and content marketing.
  • Create, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns to achieve specific KPIs, including but not limited to ROI, CTR, conversion rates, CPL, and CPA.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to enhance campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create lead magnets, landing pages, product listings, ad creatives and content assets that resonate with the target audience and encourage lead generation and maximize sales.
  • Create and manage paid advertising campaigns, optimizing them to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per lead (CPL), conversion rates, purchases, and ROI.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying trends and insights to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B tests and continually optimize various elements, including ad creatives, product listings landing pages, and lead forms.
  • Plan and implement remarketing strategy to target potential customers and drive conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to keep the company at the forefront of performance marketing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align marketing efforts with overall growth and business goals.
  • Provide regular reports on performance and recommend actionable insights for enhancing results.
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • Top tier under-graduate degree in marketing or similar field.
  • 4+ years best-in-class experience in Apps, B2C or Marketplaces, ideally within Ride Hailing, Mobility, Cartech, Startup, E-Commerce categories, with a deep focus on organic growth marketing. Growth-stage start-up experience highly valued.
  • Experience working across the full marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion and engagement) and across the marketing mix (including online and offline channels).
  • Both a strong strategic thinker, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data/insights into strong marketing strategies, and a highly organized "doer," with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action.

  • Proven 4+ years’ experience in planning, executing, and optimizing lead generation campaigns across digital marketing channels.
  • Good understanding of marketing strategy in the e-commerce sector (preferably Shopify)
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, including advertising platforms, marketing automation systems, and CRM software.
  • Strong proficiency in using marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to setup, interpret data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Arabic and/or French is a plus)
  • Creative thinking and the ability to create compelling ad copy, content, and lead magnets.
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
