Senior Procurement Specialist (f/m/x)

This is what you will do

Procurement Strategy & Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard warehouse and carrier partners to optimize cost and service levels.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key vendors, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers, ensuring contract adherence and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead annual negotiations with carriers and warehouse providers to secure competitive rates and favorable terms.
  • Support operational teams in resolving vendor-related escalations and contract disputes.

Cost Control & Process Optimization:

  • Continuously analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities to drive savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and implement best practices in cost management.
  • Oversee the review of invoices from carriers and warehouses, addressing discrepancies and ensuring cost accuracy.
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to align procurement decisions with company objectives.

Operational Execution:

  • Support the Supply Chain team in executing procurement strategies to meet business growth and network expansion.
  • Monitor market trends and logistics cost fluctuations to proactively adjust procurement strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of supplier agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms in procurement systems.

This is what you will need to succeed 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement within eCommerce fulfillment and warehousing. 5+ years preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost-effective contracts.
  • Ability to analyze financial data to drive procurement decisions.
  • Operational mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluent German language skills
