Financial Research Analyst (Crypto Assets)
Location Requirement: This role is based in Abu Dhabi. Candidates should be open to relocation and working in an international, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of crypto asset projects across the U.S. and APAC markets, systematically evaluating project credibility, technological moat, business model, user adoption, and ecosystem potential.
- Conduct independent due diligence on potential listing candidates and produce structured research reports to support listing decisions with data-driven insights and professional judgment.
- Closely monitor regulatory developments in the U.S. (including SEC and CFTC) as well as major APAC jurisdictions such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, assessing the impact of compliance and policy risks on project valuation and market positioning.
- Build and maintain comprehensive project evaluation frameworks covering tokenomics, on-chain data analysis, competitor benchmarking, and market positioning.
- Track capital flows, institutional activity, market sentiment, and emerging sectors in target markets, and regularly deliver market intelligence and strategic insight reports.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Relevant certifications such as Securities Qualification or equivalent are preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in crypto research, equity research, corporate finance, investment analysis, venture capital, or M&A.
- Prior experience with financial institutions, exchanges, venture capital firms, or research organizations in the U.S. or APAC markets (especially Singapore or Hong Kong) is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong learning agility with the ability to stay current on rapidly evolving industry trends and form independent investment or market views.
- Able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with strong execution and analytical capabilities.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
