About this role in the team:

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Director based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an individual contributor, you will play a critical role in driving new business by identifying, engaging, and closing opportunities with PSPs, Big Tech companies, and other key industry players.

 

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities by identifying, targeting, and engaging prospective clients.
  • Identify, initiate, and develop strategic partnerships with enterprise clients, with a focus on Big Tech, Global PSPs, and key industry players.
  • Leverage your network to identify and engage decision-makers, building robust relationships that drive business growth.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals, ensuring alignment with BVNK’s business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the payments landscape.
  • Work closely with cross-functional, including the Product and Growth teams, to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively to ensure timely progress and achievement of revenue targets, including commercial negotiations.
  • Understand the client’s business and identify where BVNK can continue to develop its technology to be an innovative solution provider within the crypto banking & payments industry.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of sales to the onboarding, account management, and customer success teams and act as a point of escalation for any issues the client has.
  • Fully engage with prospects, selling the company as a partner, not a list of features or product attributes.

 

What we need from you:

  • Proven success in sales or business development roles within the payments, stablecoins, or crypto industries.
  • Established enterprise network spanning PSPs, Big Tech, and related industry players.
  • Consistent high performance, with a history of exceeding sales targets, particularly in hunting-focused roles.
  • Comprehensive expertise in payment solutions, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into client value.
  • Self-starter mentality, thriving in fast-paced environments by taking initiative and delivering results.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills, adept at managing multiple sales processes and projects simultaneously.
  • San Francisco Bay Area-based, with flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
