Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our Product Engineering Team. As an Engineering Manager you will lead multiple cross-functional scrum squads, ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and alignment with business goals. You will foster a high-performance culture, mentor engineers, and drive innovation while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies to execute projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop multiple teams of software engineers, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Oversee multiple cross-functional scrum squads, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery
  • Hire, onboard, and conduct performance evaluations to grow top-tier engineering teams
  • Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and maintain motivation
  • Identify risks, resolve roadblocks, and drive problem-solving efforts
  • Align engineering goals with Buynomics' values, vision, and strategic direction
  • Provide technical leadership in system design, architecture, and implementation
  • Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business teams, ensuring alignment on priorities
  • Contribute to long-term engineering strategy and roadmap planning
  • Proactively identify opportunities and contribute to process improvements, automation, and innovation
  • Keep up with industry trends to ensure teams leverage the latest best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience managing scrum teams
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms
  • Experience in risk management, problem resolution, and process optimization
  • Excellent verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing distributed or global engineering teams
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, product-driven and SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of data-driven decision-making and analytics-driven product development
  • Strong commitment and clear vision for fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and performance optimization best practices
  • Experience with Buynomics tech stack, TypeScript, NestJS, React, AG Grid, Apache Echarts and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with DevOps practices and cloud platforms e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
