Bitpanda BTS is our B2B offering which allows our institutional clients to accelerate their digital transformation by offering a completely digital trading platform to their customers. By leveraging our next generation API's, traditional banks and next generation FinTechs are able to seamlessly offer their clients access to trading crypto, stocks, ETFs and metals, all the while maintaining their own branding and user experience.

Your mission

Build out Bitpanda's All-in-one digital asset infrastructure empowering banks, fintechs, and online platforms to seamlessly offer regulated trading and custody services for millions of people globally. You'll shape the future of our entire platform by building powerful systems from the ground up, optimize performance at scale, and drive engineering excellence throughout the stack.

What you’ll do:

• Architect and build high-performance, distributed systems in Go — think scalable, resilient, and message-driven from day one.
• Craft elegant, clean, and tested code, backed by robust test suites and thoughtful design — not just “working” code, but code you’re proud of.
• Collaborate with sharp minds across engineering to explore ideas, vet solutions, and push boundaries — from whiteboard to production.
• Level up our infrastructure, creating secure, scalable environments where speed doesn’t compromise safety.
• Shape our microservices architecture, making it more modular, reliable, and future-proof — your input won’t just be heard, it’ll be built.e

Who you are:

• Pro-level Go skills — you’ve written production-grade Golang and know how to structure, test, and scale real-world systems with it.
• Database versatility — you're comfortable designing and querying both SQL and NoSQL databases, and you know when to use which.
• API mastery — solid experience designing and working with REST, GraphQL, and gRPC, and an opinion on when each one shines.
• Streaming-native thinking — hands-on with Kafka or similar message brokers, and you understand the value of event-driven architecture.
• Cloud-native experience — you're familiar with AWS services like EKS, DynamoDB, and Secrets Manager, and know how to stitch them together into secure, scalable solutions.
