Position Overview:
The Collection Officer plays a critical role in ensuring timely payments from clients by delivering invoices, statements of accounts, and confirming balances. This position contributes to maintaining the company's financial health and supports strong client relationships.
What You will do (Responsibilities) :

Invoice Management:
- Deliver company invoices to the appropriate division or department within the client's facility.
- Ensure all invoices and required attachments are complete, accurate, and aligned with client-specific requirements to facilitate timely payments.

Account Statements:
- Distribute monthly statements of accounts to clients and confirm all invoices are accurately booked in their records.

Payment Collection:
- Schedule and collect payments from clients, including transfers, cheques, and cash.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely preparation and scheduling of payments.

Balance Confirmation:
- Arrange quarterly balance confirmations in coordination with clients.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Dispatch bank deposit slips to the branch accountant for reconciliation.
- Record and maintain accurate delivery and payment details for all transactions.

Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and sustain professional financial relationships with clients to ensure smooth communication and conflict resolution.

Additional Duties:
- Assist and work with other commercial functions to keep daily business needs met.
Who You are (Qualifications) :
- More than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction based environment or construction technology or related sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local market dynamics.
- Good in English language.
Skills
- This Position liaisons with Accounting and Sales teams so Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are needed for effective team communication & client communication.
- Proven ability to deliver results through diligent follow-up and attention to detail.
- Capable of maintaining professionalism while resolving challenges.
