This role plays a key part in the administration, analysis, and execution of global compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and annual compensation cycles. The position provides compensation analysis, job architecture governance, and support for compensation planning activities to ensure pay practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organisation’s compensation philosophy and frameworks.
What you'll do:
- Support the execution and administration of global compensation programs and annual compensation cycles, including merit planning, promotions, bonus planning, and incentive processes.
- Conduct compensation analysis such as pay equity reviews, market benchmarking, compa-ratio analysis, and compensation modelling to support informed pay decisions.
- Review and validate compensation recommendations to ensure alignment with compensation philosophy, salary structures, internal equity, and budget guidelines.
- Participate in external compensation surveys, including job matching, data validation, submission, and interpretation of market results to help shape compensation strategies.
- Support the development, maintenance, and governance of job architecture, including job structures, grades, levelling, and compensation frameworks.
- Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, modelling, and analysis to support annual compensation planning, bonus funding, workforce planning, and leadership decision-making.
- Maintain compensation data integrity and ensure compliance with compensation policies, guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas requiring further review or escalation.
- Partner with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to provide consultative compensation guidance and analysis.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs.
What you'll bring:
- Typical experience: 5+ years in a related compensation, rewards, or analytical role.
- Actual experience may vary depending on role complexity, geography, internal development opportunities, or a comparable mix of training, education, and experience.
- Experience working with compensation data, salary structures, incentive plans, and compensation planning processes.
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills, including advanced spreadsheet functionality.
- Experience supporting compensation cycles such as merit increases, promotions, or bonus planning.
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and market data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- University degree preferred.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country compensation programs.
- Experience participating in compensation survey submissions and job matching (e.g. Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson).
- Experience working with job architecture, salary grades, and compensation frameworks.
- Experience using HRIS and compensation planning tools such as UKG, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar systems.
- Professional certification in compensation or human resources (e.g. CCP, GRP, PHR, or equivalent).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven, or global organisation.
