Senior Accountant

We’re looking for an Senior Accountant to join our team in Poland. You’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations and take full ownership of accounting and tax matters for BrainRocket Poland, while collaborating closely with our international offices. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment — this role is for you.

This is a fully on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations and ensure compliance with Polish accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Prepare and submit VAT, CIT, and other statutory tax declarations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments, as well as our finance teams in Cyprus and Malta.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Support external audits and liaise with tax authorities when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an accountant in Poland.
• Strong knowledge of Polish tax and VAT regulations (a must)
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of accounting and tax functions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple offices and teams.
• Very good command of English (written and spoken).
• Previous experience in a Big 4 firm will be considered an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting within a fast-paced international environment.
