As the Country HR Manager for BrainRocket, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture and driving the HR agenda to support our business objectives.
You will be responsible for overseeing HR and Administration functions for the Serbian office, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and implementing best practices to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Our ideal candidate knows the local labour laws in Serbia, familiar is with the tech landscape in the country, has experience in growing companies and is definitely not scared of challenges. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Partner with senior leadership to drive the HR agenda for our future growth.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues. Handle employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in legislation and proactively address any potential compliance risks.
  • HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, employee data management, and HRIS administration. Implement efficient processes and systems to streamline HR workflows including payroll
  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale. Organize activities and programs to foster a positive work environment.
  • Global HR Team Collaboration: Collaborate with global HR teams on Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, Compensation & Benefits initiatives/ improvements to implement best practices and projects for Malta employees.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate on developing and promoting the employer brand to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead the local HR team of 2-3 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Office Administration: Oversee office administration tasks to ensure smooth operations and a conducive work environment for all employees.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the iGaming industry or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of local labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
