The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple residential and office fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to handover
- Oversee residential new-builds and office interior fit-outs simultaneously
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment
- Prepare and manage project programs, budgets, and risk registers
- Lead procurement and contract negotiation processes
- Monitor on-site progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
- Ensure timely project reporting and effective stakeholder communication
- Resolve site and technical issues promptly to maintain momentum
- Manage snagging, commissioning, and close-out activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably across both residential and commercial sectors
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CIOB) are a plus
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
