Job Overview:
The Health and Safety Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations across all company locations. This role involves conducting inspections, assessing risks, enforcing policies, and ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Cyprus health and safety legislation and experience in workplace safety assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

• Monitor adherence to Cyprus health and safety laws, company policies, and industry best practices.

• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective measures.

• Develop, review, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation.

• Assist in developing risk assessments and implementing control measures to mitigate risks.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to management and employees regarding health and safety practices.

• Support the Health and Safety Manager in organizing and delivering safety training sessions.

• Ensure emergency procedures, fire safety measures, and first aid arrangements are in place and properly maintained.

• Participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings and document minutes where necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, incidents, and compliance audits.

• Report and address any health, safety, security, and confidentiality concerns.

• Conduct site visits and audits across company locations to ensure consistent safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant certification or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in health and safety inspections and compliance.

• Good knowledge of Cyprus legislation in Health and Safety at Work (with proof).

• Certified as per legal requirements in Internal Services for Protection and Prevention.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workplace hazards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation and compliance records.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel for site inspections.

• Russian-speaking candidates will be considered an advantage.
