What's the role 

As a Copywriter in our SEO team, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality content across a variety of formats—website copy, blog articles, product descriptions, and more—for multiple clients. You’ll need to quickly adapt your tone and messaging to match each brand's voice and appeal to different target audiences, particularly in the pet care and home improvement sectors. 

What you do

  • Write clear, engaging, and persuasive content tailored to specific client goals and brand guidelines

  • Interpret SEO content briefs from our SEO associates and specialists

  • Collaborate with our SEO specialists and managers to deliver brand-ready content

  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency

  • Adapt writing style for various formats (e.g. commercial copy, help and advice)

  • Stay current with content marketing trends and copywriting best practices

Who you are

  • 2+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment

  • Portfolio showcasing strong writing across multiple content types and industries

  • Previous experience writing for pet care and/or home improvement brands is a strong plus

  • Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style

  • Ability to balance creativity with strategy and SEO best practices

  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and open to feedback

How you succeed

  • Understands the Client's Voice and Objectives
    Accurately captures each client’s brand tone, messaging, and business goals across all required content formats.
  • Delivers High-Quality, On-Brand Copy Consistently
    Writes compelling, error-free copy that aligns with SEO goals and meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Collaborates Effectively with Cross-Functional Teams
    Works closely with SEO client leads, and other BL team members to ensure timely delivery of client briefs
  • Maintains Flexibility Across Industries and Formats
    Confidently switches between tones, formats, and industries
  • Takes and Applies Feedback Constructively
  • Responds professionally to internal and client feedback and iterates quickly to improve copy.
