About the role
As an Analyst, you will gather, analyse and document business requirements, process flows and operational information to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the business. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst (SBA), you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current and future-state processes, identify opportunities for improvement and provide insights that support business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to build your expertise in business analysis, stakeholder engagement and process improvement while supporting initiatives across Bradken’s global operations
In this role, you will:
- Gather, research and analyse information from subject matter experts, engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to support business initiatives.
- Document current and future-state processes, conduct gap analyses and identify business risks, dependencies, assumptions and improvement opportunities.
- Support the development of business cases, options analyses and recommendations that enable informed decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare clear business artefacts including requirements documents, user stories, process maps and meeting outcomes.
- Assist with solution evaluation, testing preparation and user acceptance testing activities to support successful project delivery.
- Track actions, issues and decisions while providing regular status updates and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role supporting business improvement initiatives.
- Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, workflows and process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions and building effective working relationships.
- Experience supporting project delivery activities, testing processes or business change initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and business analysis or process mapping tools.
