What's the Role:
As Sales Manager – Mineral Processing, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across the region by developing and executing effective Sales and Business Development strategies aligned to Bradken’s strategic objectives. You will lead regional sales and marketing activities for a defined product portfolio, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and long‑term market positioning.
In this role, you will develop and implement regional sales and marketing plans, closely monitoring performance against budget and key performance indicators. You will analyse market data, identify trends and changes in the competitive landscape, and take proactive action to address performance gaps. You will also share relevant market intelligence across regions to support broader business outcomes.
You will lead and coach your sales team, regularly reviewing performance, supporting capability development, and ensuring clear accountability. Through regular customer engagement, you will promote Bradken solutions, strengthen relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
A core focus of the role is building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key customers, supporting the identification and validation of new products, sales opportunities, and value-creating solutions. You will work closely with Global Product Development Managers to ensure new products are aligned to market requirements and that Sales and Product Development teams collaborate seamlessly to meet customer needs.
You will also assess and propose earnings-accretive or strategic acquisition opportunities in line with Bradken and business unit strategies, while ensuring all product supply activities consider working capital requirements. The role includes the preparation of reports and performance data as required by senior leadership.
Key Technical Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience contributing to or supporting product design and development initiatives
- Experience identifying and supporting earnings‑accretive or strategic business opportunities.
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems, preferably Salesforce and Wrike.
- Knowledge of contemporary change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid understanding of legal, regulatory, and contract management requirements.
- Sound technical capability, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Ability to build and execute customer evaluation or value‑in‑use plans.
- Experience supporting contract review processes beyond standard negotiations.
