
Key Account Manager

Role Summary:
You will lead regular mine site visits independently and with Bradken teams to identify high-value opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and apply advanced technical and metallurgical expertise to improve liner performance, reduce downtime, and lift productivity. You will also drive continuous improvement across key accounts by optimising processes, reducing costs, and enhancing product standards.
You will be a strategic advisor and will use customer insights and operational data to influence product roadmaps, market positioning, and innovation priorities. You will execute targeted commercial strategies that expand market penetration, increase customer value, and support the co-creation of solutions that meet evolving industry needs. You will also provide senior management with data-driven recommendations to anticipate market shifts and guide long-term growth.
You will own strategic decision-making for key accounts, manage sales budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance, and implement corrective actions to protect profitability. You will be working closely with engineering teams, you will help accelerate the development of innovative solutions that keep Bradken’s products competitive, agile, and aligned with customer and market demands.
This role is based in Adelaide.
Key Technical Criteria:
· Technical trade background or tertiary qualification in Business is desirable with additional emphasis on sales management and/or marketing,
· Proven experience in customer relationship management and retention, with a strong customer-centric mindset.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key decision-makers.
· 5 years’ work-related experience in Mining or associated markets.
· Trade, Mining or Extractive Metallurgical background
· Experience in contract management and negotiation.
