Purchase & Invoice Coding Officer

Coimbatore,India

Bradken is equipping the resource sector to sustainably advance society.

Our 3000-strong global team members are proud of the innovative solutions we provide our customers and our commitment to being carbon-neutral by 2030

As our Purchasing & Invoice Coding Officer, you will ensure accurate and compliant spend data by raising purchase orders (POs) before invoices arrive and converting non‑PO spend into clear, analysable master data.

With your strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and process discipline, you will apply UNSPSC coding to all invoices and POs, as well as non-POs, to support financial reporting, cost management, chemical compliance, and Scope 3 emissions tracking. While utilities and freight are key categories, your work will span all spend areas requiring PO compliance and data standardisation.

Your collaborative communication style will help you work effectively with Accounts Payable, Procurement, and operational stakeholders to resolve coding issues and improve data quality across the organisation.

With your analytical strength and collaborative approach, you will support procurement accuracy by analysing and coding non‑PO invoices using UNSPSC standards, working closely with AP and Procurement to ensure all invoices are correctly processed. You will maintain master data templates, provide guidance on coding practices, and offer ad‑hoc support across the business, while taking on occasional additional responsibilities as needed.
