People Business Partner

Bassendean, Australia

Who We Are

At Bradken, we partner with the resource sector to make operations safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Our people make that possible. Guided by our values of Challenge, Customer, and Communication, we work together with respect and accountability to deliver lasting impact for our customers and communities.

Your Purpose

As our People Business Partner, you’ll be the link between strategy and people outcomes — building capability, engagement, and performance across our Western Australian operations. You’ll work predominantly from our Bassendean manufacturing site while supporting and regularly visiting our teams in Burswood, Wundowie and Wattle Grove.

In this role, you’ll partner with operational and functional leaders to align our people strategy with business goals. You’ll create practical, forward-focused solutions that strengthen leadership capability, enhance culture, and ensure our workplaces remain safe, inclusive, and high performing.

Your Impact

  • Partner with leaders to turn business and customer priorities into practical people solutions that lift engagement and outcomes.
  • Provide sound advice on Employee and Industrial Relations, supporting fair and consistent outcomes under Enterprise Agreements and legislation.
  • Guide leaders through workplace issues and change processes with professionalism and a focus on improvement.
  • Build leadership capability through coaching and data-led insights that support better decision-making and stronger teams.
  • Use workforce and engagement data to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and help shape the future of work at site level.
  • Bring Bradken’s One Team mindset to life, fostering collaboration and shared accountability across teams.

You’ll bring to this role a blend of insight, composure, and influence, using sound judgment and a calm approach to navigate complexity.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a People or HR Business Partner within manufacturing, heavy industry, or a similar operational environment.
  • Working knowledge of Australian workplace relations, including Enterprise Agreements, case management, and employment legislation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with discretion and consistency.
  • A collaborative style with the confidence to influence and support leaders through change.

If you’ve helped leaders navigate complex environments where safety, people, and performance intersect, you’ll find this role both challenging and rewarding.

Closing date for applications: 25 November 2025

Location: Bassendean, WA
