What’s the role?

Preheating Operator – Bradken Chilca

You will be responsible for preheating ladles and preparing pouring accessories (closing bars, nozzles), ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, and work instructions. You will support refractory verification (ladles and furnace) and perform patching/replacement when required. You will also provide support in the operation of ladles, the overhead crane (melting area), and preheaters, collaborate on area tasks and production reports, and maintain safety, 5S, and active participation in continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

Certification as a melting-area operator (foundry) or evidence of equivalent competence.
1 year of relevant experience operating melting-area equipment.
Technical skill: Operation of melting-area equipment – Level 1.
Knowledge of refractories, ladle preheaters, 5S, and molten metal safety.
