
Heat Treatment and Grinding Shift Team Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for a Heat Treatment & Grinding Shift Team Leader to join our Aftercast Operations in Chilca, Lima. You’ll be part of our Operations team driving safe, reliable, and efficient production.

What’s the Role?
Heat Treatment & Grinding Shift Team Leader – Aftercast
You will lead the aftercast value stream across heat treatment furnaces (loading/unloading & cooling stations), shot blasting, and fettling/grinding, ensuring standards, procedures and work instructions are consistently applied. You’ll own shift performance, data accuracy and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Lead safe operations in heat treatment, shot blasting, and grinding/fettling; monitor equipment condition and escalate defects.

Ensure work instructions are followed and manufacturing notes are applied.

Maintain accurate workshop log sheets and submit production reports.

Role-model Safety & 5S, promptly action safety communications and observations.

Drive benchmarking and continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve flow.
Qualifications
-
Foundry Lead Certification (or equivalent)

5+ years operating equipment in foundry environments.

Proficiency in foundry equipment operation and strong teamwork/communication.

Language: The candidate must have a high proficiency level in Spanish and English.
Location: Chilca, Lima (foundry site).
