At Bradken, we equip the resource sector to sustainably advance society. As our Finance Manager – Supply Chain, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, enabling data-driven decisions, and creating long-term value through efficiency, insight, and collaboration.
Reporting to the Global Manager – Operations Finance, you’ll partner with global supply chain and manufacturing teams to provide strategic financial leadership, strengthen reporting and forecasting processes, and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and performance improvement. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of building a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future.

What you’ll do
- Deliver insightful analysis of monthly results, focusing on budget performance, cost drivers, and key metrics like freight, warehousing, and inventory.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for the Supply Chain function, ensuring accurate, timely, and business-aligned outputs.
- Provide scenario modelling and recommendations to guide strategic decisions and manage financial risk.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimise working capital, streamline inventory, and enhance cashflow.
- Oversee capital expenditure, business case evaluations, and post-implementation reviews for key projects.
- Drive automation of reporting, ensuring reliable, consistent financial data and process improvement.
- Support supply chain optimisation initiatives that deliver cost, flexibility, and efficiency gains.
- Build financial acumen across the organisation through education and engagement.
What you bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Business; CPA or CA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and operational finance within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, inventory management.
- Strong capability in process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration.
- A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
This role is based in Brisbane, Australia
