What’s the Role?
Lead Hand Moulder – Chilca
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lead Hand Moulder to join our team in Chilca. In this role, you will operate the Molding equipment according to standards, procedures, and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- As the Lead Hand Moulder, your key responsibilities will involve the hands-on operation of molding equipment, including sand mixers, molding line manipulators, drying ovens, and sand propulsors, all according to established standards and procedures. A primary duty is the manufacturing of molds based on method instructions, which includes assembling the cope, drag, cores, sleeves, chills, and other accessories.
- You will also handle the transfer of molds, flasks, and patterns using roller conveyors.
- A crucial aspect of this position is championing safety and quality; you will be expected to act as a role model for a safer work environment, promptly report all accidents, hold others accountable for their behaviors, and ensure the full implementation of safety systems. Additional duties include maintaining a safe and clean work area, checking equipment conditions, and reporting any defects. You will collaborate with the team by assisting colleagues with production, equipment installation, and maintenance activities to improve the overall skill and safety of the workshop.
- Finally, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and participate enthusiastically in training and development.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our Ideal Candidate meets the following criteria:
- Certifications: Foundry operator Certification.
- Experience: Three years of relevant experience operating molding equipment in foundry environments.
- Technical Skills: Proven ability in Foundry Equipment Operation.
- Language: Fluent both in English and Spanish.

- The position will be based at our Chilca Foundry // G74J+WH, Chilca 15870
- Transportation will be provided.
