What's the role:
At Bradken, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a Payroll & HR Services Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our employees across the Asia Pacific region by ensuring they are paid accurately, supported efficiently, and engaged meaningfully.
This role is more than just processing payroll, it’s about building trust with our employees, maintaining compliance across multiple countries, and delivering seamless HR services that help our people thrive. You’ll be working across different time zones, cultures, and regulatory frameworks, giving you the chance to broaden your expertise in payroll and HR services on a global scale.
What you’ll do
- Payroll Excellence: Coordinate and review outsourced payrolls in India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mauritania, Ghana, South Africa, and Zambia, and complete reconciliations for payrolls in Brazil, Chile, Panama, and Peru.
- Systems & Processes: Manage time and attendance systems, ensuring shift patterns, allowances, and approvals are up to date and accurate.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Deliver payrolls in line with statutory and legislative requirements, supporting audits and reporting with precision.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with external payroll providers, managers, finance, and HR teams to resolve issues and continuously improve processes.
- HR Services Support: Support new hires, leave management, employment checks, HRIS updates, and employee documentation. Step in to provide regional coverage when needed.
- Reward & Recognition: Assist with benefits documentation, audits, salary review processes, and recognition programs such as the Best of Bradken Awards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, strengthen controls, and enhance employee experience.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated years of experience in payroll, ideally managing outsourced or multi-country payrolls.
- Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and time & attendance platforms (UKG/Kronos is a plus).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and solid reporting abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with great attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working across countries and cultures.
- Post-secondary education in payroll, HR, or accounting (preferred but not essential).
This is a remote role based in India. This is a Fixed Term Role for 9 months.
