Logistics Coordinator

As Logistics Coordinator, you’ll manage imports and exports for our Xuzhou site, ensuring accurate freight transactions and timely communication to meet customer needs.

You’ll collaborate with the Manufacturing team and Senior Logistics Coordinator to develop and implement standardised distribution processes, demonstrating a team-oriented approach and clear communication. 

You’ll also ensure seamless coordination of import and export activities, including packing, freight forwarder bookings, and shipping documentation, with consistent follow-up on confirmations and timely updates to all relevant stakeholders. 

With your attention to detail and sense of accountability, you’ll support the accurate completion of import and export documentation in line with external authority requirements and regulatory standards. With your proactive communication style, you’ll provide timely and clear updates to Freight and Sales teams, ensuring essential information is shared effectively. 

In addition, you’ll demonstrate initiative and clear communication by providing timely updates to the Freight and Sales teams, ensuring that essential information is shared proactively and effectively. 

In this role, you’ll proactively identify improvements in distribution processes, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and uphold Bradken’s values and policies. You’ll complete Epicor ARM tasks on time to support month-end processing and assist other logistics functions, especially Purchasing, as needed      

Key Criteria: 

• Proven experience managing freight operations in an industrial setting 

• Practical knowledge of freight forwarding processes and handling procedures 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders 

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Commercially aware, with the ability to align logistics decisions with business objectives 

 

This role will be based in Xuzhou.
