
Training Advisor (Manufacturing Trainer Coordinator)

Bradken is seeking a dedicated Training Advisor (Coordinator) to manage Linings training and assessment function. This role will ensure the site’s training matrix is up to date, coordinate the Training Needs Analysis process and will be responsible for the management of training at site. The role will work with line leaders to develop training and assessment needs, training courses and ensure adherence to our standards.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Training Advisor (Coordinator) with a strong background as a Manufacturing Trainer or Plant Training Coordinator in an industrial environment. Our ideal candidate brings extensive experience in implementing training frameworks, with a focus on operational readiness and strict adherence to relevant operational, safety, and legislative requirements.
You will be instrumental in driving our training function forward by developing and implementing internal audit processes to ensure training effectiveness and compliance. A key part of your role will involve designing and maintaining dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to accurately measure training progress and impact. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and managing the training budget, including forecasting short and long-term needs to align with business goals.
Beyond these critical responsibilities, you will assess needs and design learning solutions that align with business goals and strategies, while also supporting business leaders in identifying skills gaps and developing programs to address these gaps. Your role will include conducting Training Needs Analyses (TNAs), identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring effective site induction programs are in place and updated. You'll seek opportunities for in-house training, provide regular feedback on training practices and reporting, and ensure all training data complies with Linings (Bradken’s) Safety and Quality standards as well as regulatory requirements. You will also maintain roles, training completions, and the qualifications framework in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Training, Human Resources, Business Management, Applied Science, Psychology or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a Manufacturing Trainer or Coordinator in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the industrial, manufacturing or mining sectors.
- Upper English level with ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and a plus to have Power BI.
