About the Role

As the Engineering Manager for South America focused on Mineral Processing Business, you will lead a multi-functional engineering team focused on delivering customized product and design solutions for the mill liners market. You will be accountable for ensuring that engineering deliverables meet both customer expectations and Bradken’s internal standards of safety, quality, and innovation.

Working closely with Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams, you will:

• Oversee product design and technical customization across the region

• Lead engineering input into business development, technical contracts, and new product launches

• Establish and maintain systems to ensure accurate, standardized engineering practices

• Drive continuous improvement in product performance, design accuracy, and customer engagement

• Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and quality standards across all activities

• Build strong internal and external relationships to support cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing

This is a key leadership position that requires strong operational planning, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead a geographically dispersed team with clarity and confidence.

About You

You are an experienced engineering leader with a track record of delivering technical outcomes in complex, customer-facing environments. You bring structure to ambiguity, lead with intent, and engage stakeholders with credibility.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (postgraduate qualifications desirable)

• Extensive experience in product development and engineering solutions within the mining industry (preferably mill liners or fixed plant) with the following products: SAG, Ball Mill Liners, Rod Mill Liners, AG Mill Liners.

• Proven success leading regional teams and managing engineering operations across borders

• Strong experience in technical contract development, customer presentations, and product lifecycle management

• The ability to navigate technical, commercial, and strategic conversations with influence and professionalism

• High-level proficiency in engineering tools, reporting, and documentation standards

• Full professional proficiency in English and ability to travel internationally as required
