
Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Bradken, you will be responsible for managing regional sales performance, customer relationships, and gross margin growth in alignment with our Business Unit’s vision, mission, and KPIs. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and expanding our footprint across the mining or associated markets.

What you’ll be doing:
You are someone who thrives in a customer-centric role and is confident navigating both strategic and day-to-day sales challenges. In this role, you will:
- Manage sales targets and gross margins across the region.
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify new opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
- Assess market position using report data, forecasting tools, and performance benchmarks.
- Assist in regional sales planning and the development of growth strategies.
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing and product development teams to support sales goals.
- Partner with Sales Coordinators to manage stock levels and align with customer requirements.
- Develop and optimise sales processes and internal reporting practices.
- Represent Bradken with major customers and support market development through product and technical innovation.
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical or business background and a drive to build long-lasting client relationships. Ideally, you will have:
- A technical trade background or tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or Marketing (desirable).
- Relevant years of experience in mining, preferably with Fixed Plant assets or related industrial markets.
- A proven track record of sales support excellence and proactive customer engagement.
- Strong internal collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce accreditation or experience (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- The ability to advise senior leadership on market changes and customer needs.
- Willingness to travel & operate independently along with a current driver's license is essential for this role.
