The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our growing team at Bondsmith. Our platform helps customers manage their savings across a range of partner banks and financial products. As part of a mission-driven, fast-paced fintech environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and executing core operational processes, including order processing, payment flows, reconciliations, operational queries and account maintenance.
• Managing order and payment processing for deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
• Assisting with internal and external reporting, including regulatory reports, management information, and operational performance tracking
• Collaborating with Compliance, Engineering and other teams to resolve issues andcontinuously improve our operational workflows.
• Assisting with onboarding of partner banks and new financial products.
• Assisting with the management of queries from our partner banks and distributors, and ensuring queries are answered promptly and efficiently
• Continuously identifying opportunities to streamline and automate operational workflows and supporting the implementation and optimisation of operational systems, tools, and automation, whilst maintaining control and oversight standards
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to audits and internal reviews.
• Identifying, escalating and remediating operational risks or incidents in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and with Clients.
• Desirable: Prior experience in operations, payments, or back-office functions within a regulated financial services or fintech environment.
• Desirable: Good understanding of how payments, reconciliations, and client money safeguarding work
• Desirable: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including FCA e-money and CASS rules.
• Desirable: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Jira; experience with SQL or other data tools.
