Job overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the day-to-day execution of operational processes that support our digital savings platform. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a seamless customer experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage core operational processes, including order and payment processing, reconciliations, account maintenance, and query resolution
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of savings products (product control), proactively monitoring rates, terms, and customer instructions to prevent and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage deposit and withdrawal flows, ensuring timely processing, payment accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and internal policies
  • Lead reconciliation activities, including daily cash and account reconciliations, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution of breaks
  • Support the production of internal and external reports, including regulatory filings, operational KPIs, and performance dashboards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Compliance, Engineering, Product, and Customer Service to troubleshoot issues and enhance workflows
  • Assist with onboarding of new partner banks and financial products, including setting up operational processes, documentation, and testing
  • Handle and respond to operational queries from partner banks and distributors in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency, control, and transparency across all operational activities
  • Identify and escalate operational risks or incidents, contributing to remediation and control improvements
  • Support process optimisation and automation initiatives, identifying ways to streamline operations while maintaining robust oversight and controls

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, product control, or middle office within a fintech, bank, or financial services environment
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with payment flows and settlement processes in a regulated environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity, and capable of independently resolving issues
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with SQL or reporting tools is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A team player who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting

Salary range

£32,000 - £38,000 GBP
