What is this role about?

As a Senior Software Engineer in Bondora, you will be part of our Marketing Products team, building the technology that powers our growth engine. You will design, develop, and optimize systems that enable Bondora to reach thousands of users and scale faster on our path to €1B revenue.

This is not a traditional engineering role — your work will sit at the crossroads of technology and growth. You will build tools, integrations, and experiences that help us attract, convert, and engage users across Europe — from optimizing landing pages to scaling MarTech systems that drive growth.

You will have high autonomy, direct ownership, and the ability to see the real-world impact of your work within days, not months. Together with product managers, marketers, and fellow engineers, you’ll shape how thousands of people discover and experience Bondora.

What would ensure success in this role?

  • Solid front-end experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks (React preferred).
  • Preferably has experience in strongly typed languages (C#, Java, TypeScript, etc.).
  • WordPress experience is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with MarTech platforms, growth tools, or marketing/advertising systems is a big plus.
  • Excitement about working in a product-driven company where engineers own outcomes, not just code.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
